Make Teacup Invitations

Tea parties are a popular party theme for a child's party, a bridal shower, baby shower, retirement party or a birthday celebration. Catch up with friends and family, while sipping on a hot cup of tea. Tea parties are great because they are less involved than dinner parties and allow for more time for you to to mingle with your guests. Learn create a teacup invitation with a personal touch, following the simple steps below.


Instructions


1. Obtain a teacup template to use as the shape of the invitation (see Resources). Save the template on your computer.


2. Use an image editing program such as Paint or Adobe Photoshop to type details of the party on the teacup. Include the date, time, location and contact information. Use a dark font so that the printing is legible.


3. Print the teacup out on heavy card stock paper. Cut the teacup out of the template.


4. Decorate the teacup using stamps or embellishments (see Resources).


5. Place the invite in a decorated matching envelope.
