Use A Farberware Open Hearth Broiler

Use your Farberware Open Hearth Broiler for grilling meats indoors

The Farberware Open Hearth Broiler drains the meat and not the nutrients. Natural juices are sealed in, leaving you with juicy meats and healthier meals. Because the heating element is below the grill, the unit cooks with less splatter, heat and smoke. Cleanup is a snap, too.

Instructions

1. Wash all parts of the broiler, excluding the cord and heating element, before first use with plain water, and then dry.

2. Insert the drip tray in the bottom of frame.

3. Insert the crossbar which holds the element in place. This insert fits into the slots at the center of the stainless-steel body.

4. Plug the heating element into the broiler plug receptacle, located on the stainless-steel body.

5. Set the rack on the ledge of the stainless steel body. There are two positions for the rack. Check the recipe instructions to determine whether to use the high or low position.

6. Plug the cord into the broiler, and plug the other end into an electrical outlet. Preheat until the heating element is red-hot.

7. Place the meat or food to be broiled on the rack. Follow the instructions for correct broiling time for your recipe.

8. Remove meat or food from the rack before unplugging the cord from the outlet. After the broiler has cooled, wash all parts except the heating element in warm water and dish detergent. The heating element is self-cleaning -- never submerse it.
