Make Strawberry Bavarian

For a cool summer treat, make Strawberry Bavarian. It is easy to make and only takes a few minutes of preparation in addition to a few hours of chilling in the refrigerator. Follow the steps below to make delicious Strawberry Bavarian.


Instructions


1. Bring a small amount of water to a boil on a stovetop. Measure out one cup and pour into a large mixing bowl.


2. Dissolve one box of strawberry flavored gelatin into the boiling water by stirring with a spoon. Also stir in 1/4 cup of sugar until dissolved.


3. Add 1/4 cup of cold water to the mixture, and stir well. Place the mixing bowl in the refrigerator to thicken.


4. Remove the gelatin from the refrigerator once it is thickened. Beat it with an electric mixer set on medium speed until the volume roughly doubles in size. Add one cup of whipped topping and continue mixing with the electric mixer.


5. Return the mixture to the refrigerator for it to thicken again. Leave it there for one and a half to two hours.


6. Place sliced strawberries along the bottom of the baked pie shell. Spoon the refrigerated mixture on top of the strawberries in the pie shell, and return it to the refrigerator. It should be refrigerated for at least four hours before serving. Garnish with remaining strawberry slices.
