Turn Raw Vegetables Into A Super Taste Treat

Too hot to set about cooking big meals during the dog days of summer? Instead of cooking, why not eat things raw? My friends all rave about my raw vegetable salad when I treat them to it. Here is a simple recipe for a yummy meal or side dish.

Instructions

Turn Raw Vegetables Into a Super Taste Treat

1. Rinse and drain spinach, tear leaves into small pieces and place in bowl.

2. Rinse and add broccoli spears and cauliflowers. Rinse, then chop up mushrooms and add.

3. Rinse cabbage and cut up about half and add to bowl. Rinse, chop up mushrooms and add. Rinse, slice peppers into thin strips and add. Cut red onions into small slices and add.

4. Use about half the package of baby carrots, pouring them on top. Add salt, garlic and Italian seasoning to taste. Do not be stingy; raw vegetables are delicious with a lot of seasoning. Now toss.

5. If you want to present this as a side-dish, it is now ready to be brought to the table. Take out your favorite salad dressings and offer them to your guests to be used on their vegetables. If you wish to serve this as a main dish, add fresh, cooked shrimp or some tuna or salmon or some sliced chicken or turkey. If you or your friend are vegetarian and wish to eat this as a main dish, add some chunks of tofu.

6. Happy eating! Enjoy your easy-to-fix, superhealthy, vitamin-full dinner, delicious dinner!
