Betsey Johnson designs a wide array of makeup cases, and most of them don't even need to be dry-cleaned. That's because they're made to hold cosmetics, which notoriously bust, flake and leak. Cleaning your Betsey Johnson makeup bag takes a little time, but with the right materials you can keep it as stain-free as possible.
Instructions
1. Combine the vinegar and distilled water in the spray bottle. Secure it and shake it to combine it. Empty your Betsey Johnson makeup bag so you can clean it.
2. Spray the inside of the handbag liberally. Let it sit for two minutes. You will immediately notice the colored makeup mess drip with the vinegar.
3. Dampen a paper towel. Sweep it around the inside of the makeup bag, soaking up the stained vinegar and makeup mess. Do this with as many paper towels as necessary to get the bulk of the mess.
4. Spray the inside of the bag a second time. This time, focus on the areas that need the cleaning the most, such as the creases in the bottom. Dampen another paper towel and clean it up a second time.
5. Prop the bag up on its side with the top opened and allow it to air dry for approximately eight hours.
