Quick Chill A Beer

There is nothing better than a frosty beer on a hot day. Throw in some great food and a chilled glass and you're starting to talk about the definition of Heaven. But if you think you can only get a beer that is quick chilled at a restaurant, then you are wrong. Here's how you can quick chill a beer in the comfort of your very own home.

Instructions

1. Purchase quick chill equipment from quickchill.net. These are the leaders in equipment when it comes to getting your frosty brew. They have set-ups towers and kegoraters ready for purchase that are easily installed and look classy in any home. You can also purchase quick chill equipment from eBay, or at your local restaurant supply store. It may set you back a few bucks, but when you're watching the game on the plasma, it will seem like a very wise investment.

2. Pack your beer in ice if you're in a pinch or out fishing with the guys and you need to quick chill a beer. Purchase a giant bag of ice. Within 20 minutes, your beer will be cold enough to consume.

3. Place your beer in the freezer. Beer should (technically) be served at 38 degrees. Most freezers are set in the 20s. So, if you place your room temperature beer in the freezer, it should be frosty within 20 minutes. Do not leave your beer in there too long, because if it freezes, not only will it ruin the taste, but it will explode.

4. Throw your beer in the ocean. This sounds a bit nutty, but works well. You're out on the water with the sun beating down and your beer is like bath water. Tie your beer to a fishing line, or spare rope and drop it down 10 to 20 feet. The temperature of water at that level is analogous to the fridge. Within 30 minutes, you'll be ready to break open your brew.

5. Leave your beer outside. The snow and slush of winter can be really annoying. It slows down travel and dealing with the elements can take a lot of extra work. But there are some perks, like having a natural refrigerator outside. Simply pack your beer in the snow.
