Cook Deli Roast Beef In Mustard Sauce

Serve sliced roast beef on bakery-fresh buns.

Elevate coat roast beef sandwiches to a new level by heating the meat up in a savory and spicy mustard sauce. The dish will only take minutes to make as the beef is already cooked. Place the hot roast beef in fresh buns or rye bread as an ideal gourmet lunch option. The hot sandwiches are fancy enough to serve during holiday parties, receptions, showers and other special events. Choose high-quality deli roast beef for the best taste.

Instructions

1. Place 1/2 cup cider vinegar, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 tbsp. prepared horseradish, 1 cup ground mustard and 1/2 tsp. salt in a blender or food processor. Blend the ingredients for one minute or until the sauce is smooth.

2. Pour the mustard sauce into a large saucepan. Add a pound of thinly sliced deli roast beef to the pan and gently mix it with the sauce to coat.

3. Cover the pan with a lid. Simmer the roast beef in mustard sauce over medium-low heat for 15 minutes.

4. Place the roast beef in buns or on bread and spoon the sauce over the top of the meat.
