Keep Fruit Drinks From Freezing Solid

Fruit drinks taste best when they are served ice cold.

If you'd like to chill some fruit drinks but don't want them to freeze solid, you can take some care to make sure the drink stays in a liquid or slush state. Keeping the fruit drinks at a temperature that allows the drink to get cold without freezing or adding something that stops the freezing process will ensure an ice-cold finished product that is not frozen solid.

Instructions

1. Adjust the temperature in your refrigerator to 37 degrees Fahrenheit. This will ensure that the drinks become ice cold without actually turning them into ice.

2. Stir the fruit drink with a spoon every 10 minutes if you are chilling it in the freezer. This will prevent the fruit drink from freezing solid and eventually will create a slushy consistency.

3. Add some alcohol, such as vodka or rum, to the fruit drinks if you are serving adults. The alcohol will prevent the fruit drink from freezing solid. You can even use the fruit-flavored versions of vodka or other liquors to complement the flavor of the drink.
