Single Bottle Wine Chiller Work

How Does a Single Bottle Wine Chiller Work?

Why Use A Single Bottle Wine Chiller?

Single bottle wine chillers are useful for serving cold wine on the go. The quicker models can bring wine from room temperature to refreshing in under 5 minutes. They're just the thing for impromptu cravings, parties or prechilled wine shortages.

Single bottle chillers are also nice for cramped spaces that can't accommodate a chilled wine rack. For people who own small or overstuffed refrigerators, a small wine chiller is ideal. Many are moderately priced, nicely designed and easy to maintain.

Types of Wine Chillers

There are several varieties of single bottle wine chillers on the market. The consumer can pick the best solution for his needs and desired amount of work.

The first type uses cold water and ice to bring down temperature. These chillers aim a targeted spray of water while rotating the bottle to evenly cool the beverage. These wine chillers range in price from $30 to $90 for top-line models. For some, you'll need ice cubes (a tray or two), which can make the process a bit more time-consuming.

The next type uses thermoelectric cooling and physics to generate cold. A network of intersecting wires in the cooler conduct current in a certain way to create heat or cold. If the user wants a cold beverage, the cooler will change the electrical flow in such a way that the heat of the process will be absorbed. These chillers can be redirected to heat wine, as well. These work faster than the water-chilled coolers, and they have a price range of $60 to $150.

What Beverages Does This Work For?

A single bottle wine chiller will work for any beverage that fits into the holder. That means soda, water, champagne and vodka can be quickly cooled for consumption.

Most people purchase a single bottle chiller for wine. Most of the chilled wines are whites, such as Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine won't be hurt or damaged by the quick cooling, so don't worry about ruining your favorite bottle.
