Tybee Island is a destination resort just 18 miles east of Savannah, Georgia. The word "tybee" means salt in Yuchi Indian language, but it has also come to mean fun in the sun and surf. Located right on the beach, Fannie's On The Beach is a multi-story dining experience with air-conditioned dining on the first floor, open air seating on the second and a deck to top it all off. Open for lunch and dinner, Fannie's On The Beach boasts an affordable menu of fine home cooking. With the sound of the seashore coupled with live music on the weekends, diners at Fannie's On The Beach find an atmosphere conducive to a leisurely time with family and good friends. Snacketizers are a draw at Fannies, and they also offer Sunday brunch.
The Quarter Sports Bar & Grill
The Quarter Sports Bar & Grill is a sports fan's mecca. Open 365 days of the year until 3 a.m., The Quarter, as it is known to locals, serves up sandwiches, seafood, salads, wings and munchies, all available while you watch the game of the day. The Quarter also features Happy Hour and $10 wing baskets during the week from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m..
