Restaurants In Dallas Georgia

Dallas, Ga., doesn't have the Cowboys or oil tycoons, but the county seat of Paulding County does have some charming restaurants in this friendly town just northwest of Atlanta. With a population of about 10,500 as of 2010, the town offers all the usual fast food restaurants and a few notable not-to-be-missed gems.

Beef O'Brady's

Beef O'Brady's web site is almost as fun as the restaurant itself with its ability to upload a picture of yourself eating at the 25-year-old restaurant chain. Known for its lively, sports-themed atmosphere, Beef O'Brady's serves up pub favorites like its award-winning wings, nacho's O'Brady, and customer favorite baby back ribs. The place also offer fresh salads, wraps, desserts and a kids menu, called Little Leaguers. Beef O'Brady's has several other locations throughout Georgia.

Rizzo's Pizzeria and Restaurant

Owner Fred Rizzo and his wife moved from the New York area and opened Rizzo's Pizzeria in Dallas, Ga., in 2008 to "realize a lifelong dream." This family-style establishment serves authentic New York-style pizza made entirely with handmade ingredients and produce bought weekly from local farmers markets. Rizzo said he uses only family-tradition recipes, which is one reason their 20-inch extra large supreme-style pizzas are a customer favorite. In 2010, the extra large pie cost $21.95. Rizzo said he wanted to create an environment that families could enjoy so he installed two 42-inch big screen TVs and plays cartoons for the kids so the adults can carry on their own conversations. Rizzo's does not serve alcohol.
