Use pepper jelly as a dip. Dunk vegetables like fried zucchini or okra in pepper jelly, or provide an extra kick to jalapeno poppers. Serve it as a dip for coconut-crusted shrimp. You can also combine the pepper jelly with cream cheese for a smooth and spicy taste to the dip, or mix in some sour cream.
Topping
Pepper jelly is a viable option for a topping on many foods. It can go on top of a cheesecake or pound cake, for example, or as an alternative to caramel on ice cream. Drizzle it on waffles or pancakes instead of syrup, or on salads instead of fattening salad dressing.
Stir Fry
Use it in a stir fry. Saute some chicken in canola oil in a skillet along with a bag of frozen veggies. Then, add some teriyaki sauce and red pepper. Add the pepper jelly and mix it in until it melts.
Turkey Burger
Pepper jelly is good to use in turkey burgers. You can mix together some ground turkey, melted butter, dried sage and the pepper jelly, add some salt and pepper and then grill it like you would a normal burger.
Crackers, Cheese and Pepper Jelly
Include pepper jelly when you make crackers and cheese. The pepper jelly goes well with goat cheese, brie and smoked cheddar, which you can serve on water crackers or wheat crackers. Pair the snack with your favorite wine.
