Make A Dorito Taco Casserole

Dorito casserole is a great way to add flair to a mexican dish.


Doritos have been a favorite choice for chips in American households for years. Crisp, crunchy and cheesy, they are the perfect snack for parties, game night and after-school munchies. Some people love Doritos so much that they have come up with recipes to make taco and Mexican casseroles using this these tasty tortilla chips.


Instructions


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.


2. Crumble approximately 6 cups of Doritos. You can do this by crumbling them in a mixing bowl with your hands, or placing them in a gallon zip-up plastic bag and crumbling to avoid a mess.


3. Chop onion. In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled Doritos, onion, tomato sauce, enchilada sauce, chili with beans and 1 1/2 cups of cheese. Mix until well blended.


4. Spray cooking spray onto a 8 1/2-inch by 11-inch glass casserole dish. Pour mixture into the dish.


5. Bake the casserole for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, crumble 2 more cups of Doritos. After 20 minutes, remove the casserole. Spread sour cream on top of the casserole and pour on crumbled Doritos. Add remaining cheese evenly.


6. Bake the casserole again for five minutes and serve.
