Making a Printable food log provides ways to construct plans for meals in accordance to your diet plan.


Instructions


1. First look for a printable food log over the internet for reference. You can find diet generators over the net or use a diet plan that provides one.


2. Write down specific food categories and their respective point values according to portion. List these categories on your printable food log.


3. Indicate on your food log total number of food points allowed daily. Plan your meals and snacks based on this total.


4. Divide your food log total by 6 to allow for three small meals and three snacks. Eating several small meals a day is recommended for controlling metabolism.


5. Calculate how many points are allowed for each meal and a lesser amount for each snack. Log in your meals on your printable template trying to achieve a balance from all food groups for nutritional purposes and include a large portion of proteins and vitamin rich meals.
