Find Great Deals At Las Vegas

You can find great deals in Las Vegas.

Travelers planning vacations in Las Vegas can hit the jackpot without even wagering during an economic downturn. To fill up their rooms, casinos are slashing prices for rooms, food and entertainment.

Instructions

1. Avoid weekends, because the best deals tend to apply to weekdays.

2. Don't booking your vacation during big corporate conventions. You can find the Las Vegas convention schedules at lvcva.com/meetings.

3. Check out websites, including the official tourism one at visitlasvegas.com. Others include LasVegas.com and Vegas.com.

4. Visit that hotels' websites, sign up for their newsletter distribution list and pay attention to the special deals. Also always try to call the hotel directly to see if it could give you better offers over the phone.

5. Avoid the Strip. Your budget will drop significantly if you go downtown or on Boulder Highway. Some newer casinos are in outlying Summerlin and Henderson.

6. Consider going to the older casinos if you want to stay on the strip, such as the Riviera, Imperial Palace and the Tropicana.

7. Study package deals with airlines. Often, the hotels throw in show tickets, spa visits and free meals.
