Cream To Alfredo Sauce

There are so many ways to prepare your favorite pasta and/or rice dishes. For instance, pasta with Alfredo sauce is delicious. But when you add cream to Alfredo sauce over your pasta, it becomes absolutely delicious. The cream added to the Alfredo sauce gives it a rich, smooth texture.

Instructions

1. Determine how much Alfredo sauce you need and how much cream you need to add to the Alfredo sauce. About one half to one quart of cream is typically what is used for standard Alfredo sauce recipes. You can also just tailor this to suit your preference.

2. Prepare the Alfredo sauce first, according to directions. From the jar, all you have to do is heat the sauce up in a pan over low heat. If you are preparing the Alfredo sauce from scratch, cook it first to have it ready for when you are about to add cream to Alfredo sauce.

3. Stir the Alfredo sauce, using a wire whisk, over low heat and begin slowly adding the cream to the pan.

4. Stop after adding about one quarter of the cream and stir it with the whisk to evenly distribute the cream.

5. Slowly add the next quarter portion of the cream, stopping to whisk the mixture again to distribute the cream.

6. Continue to add the remainder of the cream, whisking to distribute it and keeping the mixture on low heat so that the cream sauce doesn't burn or scorch.
