Blueberries
When you're losing weight it's important to eat right while keeping your calorie count low. Here's a great meal that has less than 200 calories and will fill you up with yummy antioxidants!
Instructions
1. First of all, commit to eating in a healthy manner. Once you do, you'll find that there are so many healthy foods that taste so much better than what you were eating before.
2. Go on a shopping trip. Buy a huge bag of blueberries (I like the wild ones the best) and a large container of oatmeal. Steel cut oatmeal will not work in this case, because it does not cook well in the microwave. Just get the regular kind, not instant.
3. Put 1/3 cup of oatmeal in a cereal bowl. Add an equal amount of blueberries and 2/3 cup water. Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes. Be careful when you take it out, because it will be very hot.
4. Add the sweetener of your choice and top with regular or soy milk. Enjoy eating a delicious healthy dish that has very few calories, but tons of fiber and antioxidants!
5. Replace one meal a day with this recipe. You will save lots of calories while eating healthfully. This recipe fills you up so that you don't have hunger pangs!
