Make Easy Sticky Buns (Monkey Bread)

For a breakfast for company, children or teenage friends, or for a quick snack, try this easy sticky bun recipe. Using refrigerated biscuits cuts the preparation time down to just a few minutes, and the combination of cinnamon, butter and sugar is always a crowd favorite. This recipe serves about ten.

Instructions

1. Open the biscuit packages, separate the biscuits, then using a knife and a cutting board cut each one into fourths.

2. In a large saucepan combine the margarine or butter, brown sugar, water, cinnamon and optional nuts. Heat the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Once the mixture boils, turn off the heat.

3. Gently stir the biscuit quarters into the glaze, making sure each piece is well coated.

4. Pour the biscuit quarters into a greased bundt pan and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Or, pour the biscuit quarters into a greased 9x13 pan and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. The bundt pan presentation is prettier, but the 9x13 pan cooks faster.
