Flavors Of Whole Foods Soy Crisps

Flour made from soybeans is the main ingredient in soy crisps.

Whole Foods Market is a special kind of grocery store. Its mission -- "Whole Foods, Whole People, Whole Planet" -- demonstrates the company's commitment to its customers' health and well-being. Its retail buildings are environmentally friendly, and the company carries many healthy, organic food products. Whole Foods' soy crisps, sold under its house brand "365 Everyday Value," exemplify Whole Foods' product line. Crisps come in four flavor varieties.

Barbecue

Whole Foods Market's 365 Everyday Value barbecue flavor soy crispettes have a smokey flavor similar to the flavor of barbecue potato chips. In addition to low-fat soy flour, the crisps contain ingredients such as tomato powder, torula yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, natural smoke flavor and paprika.

Sea Salt

Sea salt soy crispettes enhance the flavor of the soy flour. They come in a blue bag that contains 3.5 oz. of the product. The sea salt soy crisps contain simple ingredients such as soy flour, rice, sunflower oil and salt. The crisps are kosher and vegetarian.

Cheddar

Cheddar soy crispettes contain real cheddar cheese. They are oven baked, kosher and vegetarian, with no added sugar. Cheddar flavor crisps come in a yellow bag and contain ingredients such as sunflower oil, cheese powder, whey, buttermilk, dried butter, garlic powder and onion powder.

Ranch

Whole Foods' ranch soy crisps bring the zesty, tangy flavor of ranch salad dressing to a baked soy crisp product. Like the sea salt crisps, ranch crisps come in a blue bag. Some of the ingredients they contain are buttermilk, tomato powder, onion owder, garlic powder and sugar vinegar powder.
