Make Chocolate Banana Pudding Dessert

Is company coming over at the last minute? Did you forget to bake something for the potluck? Here's a delicious and easy option that pairs chocolate perfectly with banana. Requiring no baking but just refrigeration, this rich pudding dessert serves eight.


Instructions


1. In a medium sized bowl prepare one chocolate pudding mix according to the directions on the box. Pour the pudding into the bottom of an 11-by-7-inch serving dish or a dish of similar size; glass dishes are a good choice because they reveal the layers of the dessert. Sprinkle 1/3 cup of the chocolate chips over the pudding and then set it in the refrigerator.


2. Wash your mixing bowl to save on dish clean up later, then prepare the banana pudding mix in the same bowl according to the instructions on the box. Remove the chocolate pudding from the refrigerator and pour the banana pudding over the chocolate pudding. Sprinkle another 1/3 cup of the chocolate chips over the top and place again into the refrigerator.


3. Wash your mixing bowl again. Prepare final chocolate pudding mix according to directions. Remove the dessert from the refrigerator and pour the chocolate pudding over the banana layer.


4. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the top of the pudding. Slice the banana and lay the pieces on the top of the dessert. Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate until it's ready to serve.
