Bread Chicken Fingers For Deep Frying

Chicken fingers consist of lengthwise strips of chicken breasts that are sometimes breaded and fried. Eat fried chicken fingers alone or put them in a bun, a sub roll or a large flour tortilla, and add tomato slices, lettuce or pickles for a flavorful meal. Make your own breaded and fried chicken fingers. Breaded properly, they will be just as tasty as the ones you buy in restaurants.

Instructions

1. Mix the egg and water in a small bowl.

2. Put the plain flour and salt into a 1-gallon-sized plastic food storage bag. Shake the combine the flour and salt.

3. Pick up a strip of chicken with the fork and place it in the bag. Shake it until coated with the flour and then shake off excess flour. Pick it up again with the fork.

4. Put the chicken strip into the egg mixture and turn to coat completely; then put it back into the flour mixture. Coat the strip with the flour and shake off the excess.

5. Lay the breaded chicken on a large plate and repeat the procedure with each chicken strip.
