In no time, you will be enjoying the delicious taste of fried cheese with a sauce of your choice.

Instructions

1. Place the beaten eggs into one of the shallow bowls and add the water. Mix well to combine. Combine the bread crumbs, the seasonings, the garlic powder, salt and pepper in the second bowl and mix well. Measure the flour and the cornstarch into the third bowl and stir to combine.

2. Pour approximately 1 inch of vegetable oil into the frying pan and place the frying pan onto the stove top. Set the burner to medium-high and heat the oil to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.

3. Cut the cheese into one-half inch thick slices. Cut each piece of cheese again corner to corner to make four triangles.

4. Spread a double layer of paper towels on the counter for draining the fried cheese.

5. Take one triangle of cheese and place it into the flour bowl. Coat the cheese with the flour mixture and then place the cheese into the egg bowl. Coat the cheese with the egg mixture and then place the cheese into the bread crumb bowl. Coat the cheese with bread crumbs. Repeat with all of the pieces of cheese.

6. Place the breaded cheese into the hot vegetable oil and fry on both sides until the cheese is golden brown. Watch the frying carefully because it does not take long. Remove the cheese from the frying pan when it is sufficiently brown and place onto the paper towels.

7. Serve while warm with spaghetti sauce, salsa, pesto or other dipping sauce.
