Road-weary motorcyclists are always on the lookout for a place to rest their feet, have a cool drink and enjoy a good meal. This has allowed many bars catering to motorcyclists to thrive. These bars are commonly referred to as biker bars in motorcycling circles and provide a place for individual riders and motorcycle clubs to socialize with other riders. Bikers traveling through Richmond, Virginia will find several biker bars to choose from.
The Dog House
The Dog House is the quintessential biker bar. Bikers enjoy special parking just outside the main entrance. Upon entering The Dog House, bikers are greeted by a real motorcycle hanging from the ceiling. The bar has a jukebox and two dart boards and is the home base of the Central Virginia Darts Association. The Dog House is especially busy on Friday and Saturday nights and is often standing room only.

SJ's Lakeside Tavern
SJ's Lakeside Tavern is a relaxed biker-friendly bar located not far from Washington Park. Both of the bar's owners are avid bikers and active in the local biking community. At SJ's Lakeside Tavern road-weary bikers enjoy beer, liquor, and bar food such as burgers and fries. The bar has karaoke during the week and hosts live bands every Friday and Saturday night.

Shooter's Too
Shooter's Too is a biker bar located just off Interstate 95 in Richmond. The bar hosts Karaoke several times per week (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The bar also has several pool tables. Wednesday night is Bikers' Night, with a live blues band and free Southern barbecue for everyone in attendance. Bikers can also participate in special prize giveaways.
